By promoting circulation it encourages cellular repair to help with muscle tension and pain. It can also aid in the bodies natural detoxification process by stimulating lymphatic flow. Cupping has similar benefits to gua sha but uses cups that create a suction to communicate with the body and restore function. Cupping is preferred over larger areas and Gua Sha is preferred in smaller harder to reach areas such as the neck, face, and jaw line. Cupping and Gua Sha are included with the acupuncture treatments if indicated!
