Cleo - Owner, Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, LAc, DCCM, CFMP

Cleo completed the doctoral program at Pacific College of Health and Sciences in Chicago, IL. Concurrent with her graduate degree, she completed a Diplomate in Canonical Chinese Herbal Medicine through the Institute of Classics in East Asian Medicine (ICEAM). This specific style of herbalism offers a functional and systematic approach to prescribing herbs based on the unique diagnostic tool of pulse taking. In addition, she completed a Facial Rejuvenation Certification through Michelle Gellis and a Microneedling Certification through MDPen. Before her journey into Chinese Medicine, Cleo worked full time as a certified yoga instructor. She completed her training in 2013 through a Yoga Alliance approved program in Chicago. Currently, Dr. Cleo attends Functional Medicine University where she completed her Functional Medicine Practitioner Cerficiation and continues to take courses to advance her knowledge in the treatment of complex disease.

After school in Chicago and longing for more outdoor activity and warmer weather, Cleo and her husband moved to Southern California. She started her private practice in the heart of Palm Desert in April 2021. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, cooking, exercise, spending time with her family, and enjoying the California sunshine.

Dr. Elizabeth earned her Doctorate of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences, with a Concentration in Nutrition. Her expertise extends to the realms of dermatological and autoimmune conditions, mental-emotional disorders, and pain management. Dr. Elizabeth has a Diploma in Traditional Chinese Herbal Medicine Dermatology from the International Traditional Chinese Medicine Dermatology Association. This comprehensive 1+ year course delved deep into various dermatological conditions and their effective treatment through Herbal Medicine.

Dr. Elizabeth is also certified in Cosmetic Acupuncture and Microneedling. Her approach to healthcare is rooted in a holistic perspective, viewing each individual as a unique entity requiring personalized attention. With a passion for integrating ancient wisdom with modern techniques, she strives to empower her patients on their journey towards optimal health and well-being.
